Inspired by the natural world, this projection is made up of flowers, seeds, lichen, feathers and leaves. This project initially began during lockdown, with all these beautiful discoveries found on Chris’s daily walks and examined.
The artwork is created using modified 1950’s slide projectors, which have had their lamps replaced by super bright LEDs. The projectors act as microscopes, scaling the small objects to human sized, or scaling humans to the size of insects; transforming perspective.
